01

Get official media

Download Windows installation media from Microsoft. Avoid modified or unofficial ISO images.

02

Confirm target firmware

Check whether the device uses UEFI and GPT. Modern Windows 11 systems should normally use UEFI with Secure Boot capability.

03

Prepare the USB

Use Microsoft Media Creation Tool or Rufus from its official source. Double-check the selected USB because it will be erased.

04

Boot and validate

Use the device boot menu, select the UEFI USB entry, and confirm storage and network drivers are available before making destructive changes.

Use this as a practical starting point. Follow your organization's policies, licensing requirements and vendor documentation for production changes.
